Salt Room or Salt Cave

Based on Halotherapy, from the Greek word Halos, treatments which lungs and skin benefit from are carried out in the Salt Room, in a relaxing context that ensures wellness and psychophysical harmony.
Suitable at any age and suggested for sportsmen who want to increase their performance improving their respiratory capability, treatment with pure micronized salt is already considered a full-blown health treatment in many European countries with scientifically proven beneficial effects according to many medical studies. Thanks to the enthralling light and sound effects, perfumes and a picturesque environment, the Salt Room or Salt Cave takes the shape of a cave where each person finds a primitive memoir of protection and safety suffocated by the daily frenzy. The walls and the floor are completely covered by whole sea salt panels.

The temperature, ventilation, high humidity, the sea water vaporizer, reproduce those of the early hours of the summer day on the sea shore, creating an ideal environment for relax. Based on the treatments offered, the internal equipment is represented by wooden furnishings for relax and recovery, massage couches, salt beds, salt water baths, bandaging, packing or rubbing with salt water couches.

The Salt Room can have different uses depending whether it is within a thermal or wellness environment: it can be a relax and recovery area after drainage and anti-cellulite treatment with products containing salt, or it can be the place where those treatments can be performed, as is the case in wellness centres. Thermal or sanitary environments are instead the ideal place for lung treatments, for the osteo-articular system and after effects due to trauma as well as for skin, for which the use of salt by-products is foreseen.

Furthermore, the stay in the Salt Room represents a favourable factor for psychophysical recovery, taking advantage from the relaxing effect deriving from the particular environment where music, sounds, aromas, lights and colours are purposely programmed to encourage relaxing sessions.
